As a close friend of Jamie, I met Linda (and Bruce) several times. It's clear she was a lovely person and powerful force in binding together a close family. It's terribly sad to see a wife, mother and grandmother taken from those remaining in this way. I know she has left a huge void in their lives and hope to support them in any way I can. Sending love and courage.

Linda, we are so sad and can`t quite believe that you are not here with us now. I have fond memories of you and your family over the years from when I was a teenager. That`s when we met you, because you and Mum, Mary, became friends when you worked together on night shifts for many years at The Wilbraham Nursing Home. Mum always said how Linda was totally reliable and trustworthy, always an advocate for the patients. You got on really well together, having many laughs and funny incidents over the years. You became great friends, sometimes going out with Bruce and Mike, for example on a day trip to Padstow. Mum and Dad both enjoyed you and Bruce`s company so much. You and Mum went out together shopping sometimes, or to the Garden Centre, Jack`s Patch, or out for breakfast, or coffee. You both love Teignmouth and walking along the sea front. When Dad, Mike, became ill and passed away, Linda, you were a stalwart friend and helped in practical ways, always thoughtful and kind. Thank you so much, Linda, for being such an amazing friend to Mum, Mary. She will miss you so very much. Mary says that, although she has had many friends over her life, she has never had a friend more caring or intelligent than her Dear Linda.

Cannot believe you are no longer in our lives Linda and I cannot speak to you, but you will always be in our hearts and thoughts. We have known you since 1972 when you and Bruce came to Downham Market and have so many happy memories of those times spent together and working with you Linda at Keymarkets. Then spending lovely times with our baby boys. Although distance separated us over later years whenever we met up it was just like old times. You were such a lovely, warm lady and it's a privilege to have had you for a friend.

Linda was such a lovely lady always so very kind and thoughtful! I met up with my lovely cousin Bruce about 20 years ago we had never met before and Linda made sure we all kept in touch and it was so lovely to be included in there lovely family! I was always made so welcome when visiting their beautiful home! Her family meant the world to her and dear Eliza her beautiful Granddaughter was the apple of her eye and gave her so much happiness. She was so proud of her sons Jamie and Julian and her lovely husband Bruce . I will never forget Linda and will always have such lovely memories of this beautiful lady. xxxx

Linda we only met twice in our lifetimes, once when you and Bruce visited us in Australia and when we visited you in England but in between we have kept in contact. I am sure that if we had both lived in either of our home countries we would have been close friends. You have always kept us aware of your love for your family and especially your grand daughter Eliza and been keen to be aware of our son Lloyd progress in life. We remember fondly the two occasions that we spent time together and are sorry that longer periods were not possible. I will miss the emails that I received from you keeping us advised of what was happening to your immediate family and at times the rest of my cousins. Although you will no longer be with us your memory will long be in our thoughts

Those we love don’t go away; they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near. Still loved, still missed and very dear.
